...but he kinda has a point? What good does McDonalds bring by making a support statement of a box of fries? How come that making this kind of statement on a box of 1$ fries is not viewed as insulting by the LGBT community?

Does McDonalds fries - or, in fact, any food - becomes better when the packaging is politically charged or when the owners express their political opinions? Does this strategy even work on marketing level and translates to sales? Legitimately curious.
